❊ Studio Philosophy
Where Creativity and Confidence Grow.
Petite Canvas is a children’s art studio in San Juan Capistrano at River Street Marketplace, serving families across South Orange County.
We offer art classes for children ages 2–13, where young artists explore drawing, painting, and mixed media while building creativity and confidence.
Our studio is designed to give children the space to slow down, develop real artistic techniques, and grow their skills over time, rather than rushing to finish a project in a single visit.
With our two-teacher studio model, students receive guidance and encouragement as they grow from their first brush strokes into confident artists.
❊ Inside the Studio
Born to Create. Designed for Young Artists.
Art Parties
Celebrate birthdays and special occasions with a creative art experience that’s just as enjoyable for parents as it is for kids.
Our team handles the projects, materials, and guidance so children can create their own artwork while parents relax and enjoy the celebration.
Art Classes
Weekly art classes for children ages 2–13, where young artists explore drawing, painting, and mixed media in a welcoming studio environment.
Each class is taught by working artists who guide students through techniques, materials, and creative projects that help them develop their own artistic voice.
Camps & Events
Seasonal art camps, Parents’ Night Out, and special creative events invite kids to explore bigger projects and create alongside new friends.
These studio experiences are led by our team of professional artists and designed to spark imagination and discovery.
❊ From the Founder
The Heart Behind the Studio
As a mother of four, I’ve watched how naturally my children are drawn to creating. A blank page quickly becomes an idea, a blend of colors, a story they’re proud to share.
I’ve seen how much joy and confidence comes from the process. Not just finishing something, but discovering what they’re capable of making.
Creativity doesn’t look the same for every child. Some jump right in. Others take their time. I wanted a place where kids could be met where they are. Free to explore ideas, experiment, and grow without feeling rushed or expected to perform.
Petite Canvas is a studio I’m building not only for the families in our community, but for my own children as well. The same classes, projects, and creative experiences offered here are the ones my kids will be sitting down to explore alongside yours.
We can’t wait to welcome your family into the studio and see what your child creates.
